Phone your insurance company and get a CTP (Compulsory Third Party) Green slip
If you do not have an insurance company you can go on google and put in CTP calculator and find one.
The price for this will vary according to your age, your driving history, any fines or charge etc.
Prior to phoning them you will need
Your receipt / Invoice for Proof of purchase
Amount paid for bike $$
On that receipt you will need:
- Vin Number
- Engine Number
- Brand braaap
- Model: St-250 or Moto3 or SS125 or Urban
- Engine capacity: 250cc or 125cc.
- They will also ask you your
- Personal details and riding history etc
Example:
Quoted for a 30 Year old whom had lost 3 demerit points and had one year riding experience

Step 2
Find a vehicle inspection station near you that does Blue slips for Motorcycles.
Make an appointment
Cost $41 APPROX
Step 3
Apply on line and get a Permit to ride your unregistered bike to a vehicle inspection station near you.
Cost $35
(However I have been told that you can ride DIRECTLY to the inspection station without a permit as long as you can prove to the policeman that you have an appointment and that you are on a direct course to them, more details HERE)
Step 4
Vehicle inspection station appointment
You will be supplied with a Blue Slip
Step 5
Go to R.M.S (Road Marine Services)
Collect your number plate and pay for your rego
